Final Beginnings by John Edward and Natasha Stoynoff
For all John Edward fans, you will be happy to know that John Edward
has a new book. Written with Natasha Stoynoff, a staff correspondent for People magazine, Ms.
Stoynoff has collaborated before with Mr. Edward. The
new book “Final Beginnings” is a wonderful psychic
thriller. Interesting mix? Yes, and wonderful. Both
Ms. Stoynoff and Mr. Edward bring to this fiction their
area of expertise. This fast paced thriller is set in
post 911 New York.
The main character Katherine Haywood is an over
worked, burned-out psychic who has gone away on a
well-needed break. She has gone to a place where she
will not be recognized, and doesn't speak the language,
a real change. From the moment she arrives at her
destination she begins to get visions she doesn't
understand, but guided by these visions returns suddenly
to New York, only to find herself in the middle of a new
terrorist plot. This part of the story offers a very
interesting view of what it is like to be a psychic
before, during, and after a crisis. Also in the cast of
characters is a grieving police captain, a brilliant
genetics tycoon, a New Jersey dad and is dying daughter,
and a cynical reporter.
This book has many levels. The story begins with the
possibility of a new attack on New York, 6 years after
911. One subplot deals with what it feels like to be a
world-renowned psychic, and still another part of the
story works with new spirituality and understanding
about those who have crossed over. The story includes
many believable and likeable characters, but villains
and many unexpected twist and turns keeps this book
believable and a real page-turner.
The paperback is on sale for $7.99. You can find
this book at the BookXchg at our new address at 604
Brevard Ave, Historic Cocoa Village. Enjoy this book
for the plot, but let the story also help you explore
new ideas and understandings about grief, closure, and
crossing-over. |
